Painterly Acrylic Landscapes – Part 2
Painterly Acrylic Landscapes – Part 2
In the second video of this collection Linda shows how she takes her artwork a step further by using her paintings to inspire several fabric and thread panels. She creates a base fabric by needlefelting a variety of materials on her embellisher machine and then shows exactly how she uses fluid acrylic inks to paint on silk to represent the treeline in the landscape. Final details are added with hand stitch before the panel is mounted onto a painted box canvas.
