Welcome to the Christmas Crafts Classroom. Here we’ve gathered together all the content we have with a festive theme. You’ll find video workshops and inspirational blog posts with lots of ideas and information to help you celebrate the festive season in creative style.
Don’t you find that Christmas and the festive season becomes increasingly commercialised year on year? So what better than to make your own handmade Christmas. In the Christmas Classroom you’ll find some beautiful stitched projects such as the Winter Table Runner that you can make to decorate your home. These special pieces are worth the time and effort as you’ll be able to get them out every year.
In our house it’s tradition to add a new decoration to the Christmas tree each year. If you do the same, maybe this year you’ll make that new decoration. Our Festive Fancy class will show you how to make that special, over-the-top, addition to your tree. If you can’t go mad with a few beads at Christmas when can you?!
But don’t worry, if time isn’t on your side then we have some quick makes too, download Linda’s original robin painting to make your own greetings cards, or if you’re keen to get the kids involved, try making your own glitter cards.
Best of all, you’ll find nearly all the content in this classroom is free. Well it is Christmas after all.

Reverse Applique Quilting

In this workshop Laura will demonstrate a creative technique for quilting your work that introduces texture and colour by cleverly combining free motion quilting with reverse appliqué.
