Linda is starting Module 2 with some oil pastel and watercolour wash studies of her favourite china. Take a look at her quick painting of cups and saucers where the gilding of the china is achieved with metallic gold pastel.

When the surface quality of the paper in your sketchbook is boring try gesso for added textural interest.
