Hydrangea Blooming

Blooming is a word used to describe the textural effects of first stitching and then cutting back through layers of fabrics. Here Linda shows how she uses the technique with Hydrangeas as inspiration.

To work along you will need:

  • A few squares of cotton fabrics in the colours of Hydrangea flowers
  • Machine threads to coordinate
  • A seam ripper or small sharp scissors
  • A wire brush (optional)

Approximate run time: 19 minutes
