We’ll both be at Festival of Quilts next week with the quilt so please read on below for more information.
The Ruby Star Raffle
As you might have seen on our social media, raffle tickets for a chance to win the Ruby Star Quilt are now available. You can purchase them from us at Festival of Quilts next week, or if you aren’t able to come, you can buy them online here.
IMPORTANT!
A few people have purchased raffle tickets online this week anonymously. Because of data protection, unless you tick the box when you buy the tickets to say that you are happy to have your information shared with us, Laura won’t receive your email address.
So, PLEASE PLEASE tick the box, or email her separately so that she can send you your ticket numbers.
If you’ve already bought tickets and not received your numbers via email, please get in touch. Email Laura at laurakemshall@gmail.com
All of the money that Laura has raised so far. Well over £10,000 is going to Lingen Davies Cancer Fund. You can read more about the work they do on their website.
Festival of Quilts
We’ll be at Festival of Quilts next week on stand number QIA32.
We really hope to see lots of you there. Please come and say hello, get a raffle ticket and admire the quilt and the other generous prizes that Laura is raffling for the Lingen Davies Cancer treatment centre. Laura was awarded Community Fundraiser of 2019 by the centre last week having already raised well over £10,000 but we’re hoping to add as much as we can to that total with the raffle proceeds.

We always aim to encourage and inspire you to get creative. If seeing Laura’s quilt has made you fancy trying your hand at English Paper Piecing then come over to the stand where you can pick up a free instruction sheet. We’ll also have some of the red and black fabric left over from the quilt so you can also take some scraps away with you. (A small suggested donation of 50p to the charity would be much appreciated). Why not bring your thimble and sit and sew with us for a few minutes!
