3D Printing Sample and Layering Stitch

I thought you might enjoy seeing this experiment that Laura’s been working on. It’s a 3D printed panel of her own handwriting. Isn’t that fun? She tells me she has plans for making use of it in her work somehow. I’ll keep you posted!

You can always keep up with our work in progress over on our Instagram feeds. Here’s the link to mine…and to Laura’s.

New Video Workshop – Layering Stitch

If you’re familiar with our work then you’ll know that we love to layer processes to create rich and interesting surfaces. Our quilts are no exception and we often combine machine quilting, digital stitch and hand quilting. Layering pattern, line, colour and texture can work brilliantly, but it’s not always easy to do. In this workshop Laura shares some examples and her tips for success.
